Description

Introduction to French language skills needed in order to obtain both communicative and cultural competence, with emphasis on providing and obtaining personal information, expressing feelings and emotions, and exchanging opinions. Includes basic French grammatical structures, vocabulary, and various cultural aspects of the French-speaking world.

In their spoken communications, demonstrate an awareness of aspects of culture in diverse French-speaking communities and other communities around the world, and of the appropriate use of French sociolinguistic conventions in a variety of situations
